Becky Sangolo - a singer with Kenyan roots whose extraordinary musical talent blossomed in childhood. Inspired by her father, she began her musical journey at the age of just 6. Her talent manifested very early - at only 13, she released her first album, proving that age is just a number when it comes to true passion.
After graduating from high school, determined to develop her musical craftsmanship, she began her education at a prestigious music academy. It was there that she founded Band BeCa with Carol Kamweru. The duo quickly gained popularity on the Kenyan music scene, blending traditional African sounds with modern pop. Their collaboration culminated in the February 2021 release of "BeCa Fever," which established their position among East Africa's leading musical artists.
A new chapter in the artist's life began with her move to Poland. Here, besides starting a family, Becky embarked on a solo career. Her debut single "Moonlight" revealed a new, intriguing facet of her artistic sensitivity.
A breakthrough came in 2023 when Becky captivated Polish audiences with her performances on The Voice of Poland. Her distinctive voice, natural charisma, and unique interpretation of songs caught the attention of both judges and audiences, leading her to the finals of the competition. During this same period, she released her second single "Call Me."
Currently, the artist is working on her first solo studio album in Europe, combining her African musical heritage with contemporary trends in popular music. The album is set to bridge the two musical cultures that have shaped her artistic identity. The first preview of this material will be the single "Bite," created in collaboration with British producer Yoad Nevo, scheduled for release on February 28, 2025.
